Not many shots had been taken Saturday so I'm just uploading my favorite. Tiny tiny anime 'con' that happened Saturday, downtown Ann Arbor, MI. Was sitting in on one of the panels, of which I got absolutely nothing out of cause I couldn't hear a word over the fan inside the head :P

Definitely had fun wandering around town and on campus, hangin' with the Homestuck cosplayers. Got a good number of awesome reactions as well as taking first in the cosplay contest :3 Bandana has the poke` symbol as well as the name "Fawkes". All in all the debut went well, had some bothersome 13 year olds but I got to freak out a cop on my way to the con so any downfalls were made up by the feedback I got from the general public I passed by.

Head originally made by Nathow111 on DA, heavily upgraded by me. Body and the rest is also me, Pokemon copyrighted to Gamefreak.

:D I'm so glad he's being put to good use!
I'm also sorry about the noise problem. Due to the cone shape any noise in the mask is directed straight to your ears.

All of the questions. When I went to Anime Expo in my terribad square Blaziken costume I couldn't walk 5 steps without being stopped for pictures. I can't imagine going there with an actual good costume. XD

No problem! I'm honestly glad I don't own it anymore. When I see it I see pretty much nothing but it's flaws, I don't think I could enjoy it as much as another person could. Also, you've node a great job of fixing it up and building the suit for it. They look fabulous.

The more durable tail was definitely a better idea.

I know the feeling. One of my suits I've taken apart, redone, taken back apart, redone once more, and just sit and glare at it because of the errors. Makes ya squirm every now and then.

XD Sounds like you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I'm glad. I look forward to future projects. I have at least a dozen costume design ideas, but I have to force myself to finish one before I start another.
