After cleaning the workroom once more yesterday I came across a very large fox fursuit tail I had purchased at IFC earlier this year. I know I won't ever get a chance to wear it (not much of just a tail wearer) I got the sudden urge to make a cartoon fox.

Through the cleaning I had also came across an older balaclava, a discarded muzzle, and a nose that I wasn't using so I finished cleaning and dug through my fur scraps, pulling out the last bit of my MM red fox supply from 2010 and some toon teeth and set to work.

I streamed the random bout of making but rapidly discovered the 'fox' part was just not wanting to come, settling happily upon a maned wolf. The design I've had for a couple months so I'm happy to see it will get some use. Got some things I'm waiting on so after I finish the alterations on Jake's bodysuit I'm going to quickly fur this fella. No moving jaw but does have following eyes. Will soon fit a 23-24 head and will be for sale, both head and tail. If I'm feeling adventurous and have some spare time I will make some paws to go with it.

The red markings are to be airbrushed black, the black lines to be seams.

Wow, this is amazing. I remember seeing this before and thinking holy crap that sketch looks like mine! But upon further inspection I see the differences, the ears and undereye markings are scary similair though. xD

And I just did this same thing seeing it a second time. XD

I presume the one you're referring to is the Phoenix one? I had a look through you gallery as I was curious. Common pose, but I do see the similarities you are talking about!

Oh no, sorry I didn't elaborate. It was a sketch that I had in my sketchbook. I didn't post it here ^^ That's why I was so surprised at the resemblance. Mine had a little thinner muzzle, different neck shape, and had a feather mane, xD. But the face is very similar.

Very cool! Haha judging by the sketch the shape, this one should be similar to my fursona's head shape when its done. I'm excited to see how the shape comes out because youre on my "to commission" list ^^
